Community Diagnostics Hubs
In response to the release of Sir Mike Richard’s October 2020 report titled ‘Diagnostics: Recovery and Renewal, Report of the Independent Review of Diagnostic Services for NHS England’, the UK Healthcare Industry scrambled to prepare and deliver suitable solutions to the problem faced by the NHS. Despite this, coupled with the current COVID-19 pandemic, the waiting lists for diagnostic services continues to grow and the need for a flexible and long-term solution has now become imperative to diagnose and treat patients before their health worsens.
We recognise the scale and severity of this problem and consequently have formed a team of strategic partners; experts in their respective modalities, to deliver Community Diagnostic Hubs (CDHs).
Working in close partnership with our customers, we assess and identify locations where these turnkey mobile solutions will have the best impact and that provide the best accessibility relative to local demographics. Placing the CDH away from usual acute hospitals reduces the clinical risk of the spread of COVID-19 as well as reducing travel, pollution and parking problems faced by hospitals in urban areas.
With a flexible Multi-Vendor Solution (MVS) we can tailor our model to suit requirements, enabling us to provide the following digital imaging and diagnostic modalities:
- CT scan
- Cancer screening
